The Blue Nature Alliance is a global partnership led by Conservation International, the Pew Charitable Trusts, the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Minderoo Foundation, and the Rob Walton Foundation.

The Alliance is an ambitious initiative designed to support governments in achieving Target 3 of the UNCBD’s Global Biodiversity Framework (30×30). It aims to bring 18 million square kilometers of ocean space under protection by 2027.

In supporting effective marine conservation, the Alliance emphasizes approaches that allow for sustainable use while safeguarding cultural rights and equitable access to ocean and marine resources.
